The card carries the spelling of the Thai name, the address and the photo. Nobody types them, so nobody mistypes them, and the record matches the patient’s legal documents from the first visit.
The ID number is the identity we match on, so the same person is one record whichever branch they walk into. Staff see the match before saving and confirm it.

No. The card is read on your own computer and the fields go into your patient record.
Not all of them, and software made outside Thailand usually cannot read the Thai card. Where it exists it is often a separate screen; here it is a keyboard shortcut from anywhere in the app.
